Abstract: It is of great significance to summarize the existing literature systematically and comprehensively on agricultural adaptability under climate change and clarify the research context of agricultural adaptability for reducing the risk of agricultural vulnerability and improving the adaptability of farmers. To this end, this paper will systematically sort out the relevant literature from the following aspects. First, we should understand the concept of climate change adaptability, emphasize its importance, and then introduce the analysis framework of climate change adaptability. Secondly, agricultural adaptive behavior under climate change is classified and discussed from five aspects: action subject, adoption motivation, adoption form, implementation object and behavior characteristics. Thirdly, the influence mechanism of agricultural adaptive behavior is discussed from two aspects of external environment factors and internal constraints. Fourthly, the effectiveness of climate change adaptation is assessed in terms of reducing climate risk, ensuring food security, increasing farmers’ welfare and improving the ecosystems. Finally, the possible future research directions are proposed in order to enrich the research in the field of agricultural adaptive behavior.
