Abstract: To explore the effect of topographic and light factors on the functional traits of bryophytes in Baiyun Mountain National Forest Park, the 8 kinds of function indicators of 52 species of bryophytes in a fixed monitored sample plot were measured, including stem length, leaf area, leaf length to width ratio, middle cell length, middle cell width, capsule length, spore diameter and spore thickness. In combination with the statistics of topographic factors(elevation, slope, aspect and convex and concave) and light factors(leaf area index, canopy cover, average leaf angle, scattered radiation, direct radiation and total transmittance ratio of light), the main driving factors affecting the functional traits of bryophytes were analyzed by redundancy analysis(RDA) and Pearson correlation analysis. The results showed that the difference of middle cell width and leaf area was the most obvious. The minimum values of the two traits were 5.05 μm and 0.32 mm~2, and the maximum values were 23.00 μm and 2.69 mm~2. Elevation and aspect were the two most important topographic factors affecting the functional traits of bryophytes in Baiyun Mountain National Forest Park, while the average leaf angle and the direct radiation were the most important light factors affecting the functional traits of bryophytes in this area. There was a significant negative correlation between elevation and convexity, and a negative correlation between LAI and elevation.
