Abstract: The biomass dynamics of Quercus aliena var. acutiserrata-Pinus armandii community trees of Baiyunshan Mountain in Henan Province were studied. The results showed that,the biomass of arbor layer was 172. 14 t ·hm- 2,the dominant tree species of Quercus aliena and Huashan pine tree each accounting for 47. 73% and 43. 74%,other species accounting for 8. 53%. The tree layer biomass changed with Quercus aliena var. acuteserrata community DBH growth,all organs had different growth rate,the community mature total biomass and the biomass of different organs reached the maximum,and community development and total biomass tended to be stable,but the biomass of different organs had the attenuation. In the process of community development,Sharpteeth oak in diameter 4 ~16 cm between the biomass ratio first decreased,then increased,and the biomass of Huashan pine proportion increased,but with the growth of the dominant species of Quercus aliena,the biomass ratio decreased. It is worth mentioning that,while the biomass of Sharptooth oak decreased with maturation Huashan pine increased.
