Abstract: 【Objective】To verify the welfare effect of agricultural trusteeship on farmers, this paper analyzes the impact of agricultural trusteeship on the per capital income of farmers in Henan province. 【Method】Based on the theoretical analysis of the effect of agricultural production trusteeship on farmers’ welfare, taking Henan Province as an example, this paper empirically analyzes the effect of agricultural production trusteeship on farmers’ income by using 918 wheat farmers’ survey data and propensity score matching method to explore the welfare effect of agricultural production trusteeship. 【Result】The results show that the agricultural production trusteeship has a positive effect on the welfare of farmers, and the per capita household income of farmers in agricultural production trusteeship increased by RMB 0.44 million to non-trusteeship farmers. Further research shows that the welfare effect of agricultural production trusteeship is different among different groups. The higher the education level and the smaller the production scale, the higher the welfare effect level of agricultural production trusteeship. The trusteeship behavior of agricultural production is the result of farmers’ rational decision. The number of rural households with non-agricultural employment has a significant positive impact on the choice of agricultural production trusteeship, while the value of agricultural machinery, the number of plots and the distance between the land and the central urban area have a significant negative impact on the choice of agricultural production trusteeship.【Conclusion】We should vigorously develop agricultural production custody services, guide farmers to go out for work and employment through various channels, appropriately adjust the current agricultural machinery subsidy policies, and adopt appropriate ways to carry out land consolidation and consolidation, so as to promote the improvement of farmers’ welfare level.
