Abstract: In view of the new technology of hydrogen supplementation and strengthening, which can effectively improve the biogas yield and quality during anaerobic fermentation of straw biomass, this paper introduced the research status of hydrogen supplementation and strengthening technology at home and abroad. The correlation between the content, flow rate, reaction temperature and trace elements of exogenous hydrogen and the gas production rate, methane content of anaerobic fermentation and their influence rules were analyzed. It was clear that the biogas yield, gas production rate and methane concentration were improved due to the addition of exogenous hydrogen in the anaerobic fermentation process of straw biomass, and the key research direction of hydrogen supplement technology in the future was pointed out.
