Assessment and source analysis of heavy metal pollution in farmland soil around a plumbum plant in JiyuanChinese Full Text

Abstract: Based on field investigation and indoor analysis,the soil within 600 m distance from an plumbum plant in Jiyuan was studied. The contents of Cr,Zn and Pb were tested,respectively.According to the content of heavy metals in the sample plots and the single factor pollution index method,the ecological risk assessment of farmland soil was carried out. At the same time,2 principal component factors were extracted by principal component factor analysis and the possible sources of the heavy metals were analyzed. The results show that the pollution degree of heavy metals in the farmland soil was Pb > Cr > Zn,and the content of Pb in the soil around the plumbum plant in Jiyuan had exceeded the national standard value and soil background values of soils in Henan province,moreover,the contents of Cr and Zn in some of the soil samples were higher than the soil background values of Henan province. The single factor pollution index analysis showed that the average value of Pb pollution index reached 1. 73,indicating that the pollution was serious. Source analysis showed that the sources of heavy metals Pb and Cr in the soil around the plumbum plant could be affected by the emission of pollutants from the plant and traffic emissions.
